wear it with pride
This phrase has a special symbolism to me. It means that one will not be afraid to wear what one believes in on the outside. We claim this is a country of freedom but this right is selective. Now those who lived hidden are attacking those who never did, forcing them into the same kind of exile which they came from. My hope is that my opinion, whether people agree or disagree, can be respected. I'm here to wear it all with pride - without exceptions.
This is my little space in cyberland; it was established some time last year. This site used to hold information about my stories, including character profiles - concept art - and other snippets of media. After I decided to remove my fictional works from FictionPress [due to plagiarism] I thought about making this a graphic website where fans of Asian entertainment could come and grab some G. Art for their blogs, signatures, or whatever. Due to some issues with hotlinking and the host [I plan to change hosts soon] I had to redirect the graphics to my livejournal community Sinful Flavors. I know - it's not precisely a clean title but at that time it sounded catchy.
You'll find that I'm around many places with different names: Nefertiry, Nyleve Nalloc, and dollsoflace - I'm the same person. Nefertiry was an old name which later one of my character's inherited, Nyleve is my name backwards, and dollsoflace is the screen name of my personal blog and deviantART accounts. Perhaps some day I will settle on just one name.
So what is this site? It's mainly a fan site. No, I won't have a database of pictures of celebrities or write out their biographies. I'll write reviews and little snippets of news about all of the things I follow in the world of Asian entertainment; dramas, JROCK [Japanese rock], languages [mainly Japanese], fashion, culture, and yes - even the funny aspects of all foreign countries. Hey - I'm foreign too so it's alright!
